Tim and Ann Herron Tim Herron (aka Lumpy) and his wife Ann are the parents of 3 young children. As concerned parents, they’ve recognized a void when it comes to teaching kids what it takes to be an ethical leader. They want to do something about it. Ann who's background includes a degree in education, does not believe American youth are exposed to valuable ethical leadership skills and how to apply them at any point throughout formal education. Tim, grew up challenged with dyslexia. Later, he was given what was initially an unflattering nickname, Lumpy. However, he never gave up and not only worked hard to become a successful PGA tour professional, but used his nickname to his advantage. He believes anyone can become successful provided they work hard and do the right thing. While Tim and Ann believe everyone’s a “work in progress”, they believe it’s critical that attention be brought to the specific lessons that make ethical leaders who they are. Their passion to provide all of American youth easy access to a resource for learning ethical leadership skills is how they’ve chosen to give back. |
